Webb Center Cafeteria to Serve Up International Cuisine (and Belly Dancing) Nov. 14

Café 1201 in Webb Center will soon take students, staff and faculty on a journey around the world, all without ever leaving Hampton Roads. Monarch Dining is sponsoring International Night at the on-campus cafeteria from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14.

During the dinnertime period, in honor of International Education Week, international cuisine will be featured at every station. Food from Germany, Vietnam, Spain, France, Morocco and several other countries will be available, and Café 1201 will be festooned with decorations of the flags and colors of the featured countries.

The event, a partnership with ODU's Office of Intercultural Relations, will also feature an international fair, which will showcase informational displays about countries and cultures. As well, the ODU Ya Gamila belly dancing organization will perform from 5:30-6 p.m.
