Faculty, Staff Can Buy Advance-Sale Tickets to 'A Prairie Home Companion' Broadcast

"A Prairie Home Companion," the popular radio show featuring host Garrison Keillor, will be broadcast live from the Ted Constant Convocation Center May 4, and Old Dominion faculty and staff can purchase tickets to the event prior to the public sale.

This exclusive ODU promotion is available through 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7. Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Feb. 8.

Tickets start at $25 and may be purchased online using promo code ODU13 at or by proof of an ODU faculty or student ID at the Constant Center box office. Students under 25 will receive a 25 percent discount, but tickets must be purchased from the Constant Center box office with proof of ODU student ID.

This is a rare chance to be part of the live audience as Keillor leads an ensemble cast through his entertaining live radio show filled with special guest performances, quirky comedy sketches, musical interludes and Keillor's signature monologue, "The News from Lake Wobegon." The event begins at 5:45 p.m. at the Ted.
