Registration Due Jan. 25 for Noncredit Course in Persian Language and Culture
"Dorood!" That, by the way, is "Hello" in Persian.
Want to learn more Persian? A noncredit Persian Language and Culture course, open to ODU students, faculty, and staff only, will be offered this semester starting Jan. 29.
You must be able to attend all of the classes. Seating is limited; enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Certification will be given upon successful completion of the classes.
Classes will be held from 5:30-6:45 p.m. on the following Tuesdays in the ODU Intercultural Center, 2114 Webb Center:

The instructor, Mohammad Ebrahim Bolouki, is a native Farsi speaker. He has a bachelor's and master's degree in the contemporary history of Iran and Persian literature. He has taught Farsi and English language for several years and has more than 15 years of experience in creative writing, translation, cultural affairs and journalism.
