'Spotlight on Scholarship' Shines on STEM Education Faculty at Reception This Afternoon
Faculty members from Old Dominion's STEM education and professional studies department will present and discuss some of their recent work during a reception at Perry Library this afternoon. The program is scheduled from 3-5 p.m. in the Learning Commons Conference Room.
Since March 17 and continuing through April 15, the University Libraries are shining a spotlight on the research and recent scholarly output of the Darden College of Education department, whose faculty members are world renowned for their teaching, research and service. Their areas of research are diverse and include fashion retailing, game and simulation development, development and implementation of learning technologies, policies that address sea level rise, research apprenticeship programs, STEM teacher education and much more.
An exhibit in the Learning Commons features statements of current research as well as selected journal articles and books from the past five years.
